About

I was studying design, minding my own business, when one day, a giant whirlwind picked me up from my life in Brooklyn, and landed me on the west coast of Ireland. It was a strange place, this “Ireland”, with plenty of rain and rainbows, miles of rock walls, and…sheep. Lots and lots of sheep. I wondered how anyone could survive in this gray, rainy world.

Some of the locals saw my rough landing and took me in. They showed me how long walks in the rocky countryside strengthen the spirit (and the bum!), how there’s no choice but to laugh when you’re dancing, and taught me about the warming, healing properties of whiskey! It was strange to me, but I’ve gotten (kind of) accustomed to wearing sweaters in August and dodging rain at any given second, even when there’s not a cloud in the sky.
